The top of the 2018 Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Championship Ring features the Capitals logo crafted from red and blue enamel, surrounded by 27 pavé-set diamonds.

This centrepiece is encircled by 28 custom taper-cut rubies. Above the logo, three star-shaped rubies symbolize the Washington DC flag, representing Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland.

An additional 157 diamonds cascade down the sides of the ring top, creating a waterfall effect.

Dual rows of channel-set princess-cut diamonds, each row containing 11 diamonds, accentuate the top and bottom of the ring, totalling 22 diamonds. The words “STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS” in yellow gold complete the ring top.
