2020 CIC Football Ring

October 13, 2021 – Baron® is honoured to have been chosen to create and manufacture a Ring for the Army West Point College Football Team to commemorate their victory.

Jeff Monken, Head Coach of the Army West Point, had shared the story behind the 2020 CIC Championship Ring in a team ring video.

Every Baron® Championship Ring has a story, and Coach highlights the significant elements that went into building out this stunning Football Championship Ring.

“I think the biggest thing I wanted to accomplish with this was to honour our senior class. They became the winningest class in program history. They just reinvigorated the culture of the brotherhood here.”

“It’s awesome to have the most coveted trophy in all of college football on top of that ring and it’s the centerpiece to the ring.”

“The 35 stones around it, to really honour the 35 victories that our seniors put together over the course of their career.”

“This is really just an unbelievable stadium.”

“A national historic landmark, and to go 8-0 in the stadium. The first time ever in program history and to win over our biggest rivals.”

“Proud to display both the records in Michie stadium. As well as the scores of two games along with the stars our guys are on.”

“The side of the ring that has Bowl Game and the Lambert Trophy: a great source of pride for this team.”

“The Lambert Trophy to be named the best team in the East to bring that trophy to the West Point in 2 of the last 3 years, is really special.”

“On the end caps, the 9 stones is significant not only for the 9 victories of this [2020-2021 football season] season but to capture our ninth outright Command In Chief trophy and 9th Lambert trophy.”

“For everybody that was part that ring [2020 Army West CIC Championship Ring], we all know what those 9 stones symbolize.”

“On the other end cap, what’s become a real mantra for our program and our team “Last of the Hard” and for what they commit to.”

“All of our men and women who serve to honour the profession of arms.”

“I think it’s really special to have some engraving on the inside of the ring.”

“It’s apart of the ring that no one other than the person wearing it will see. That’s what makes the things that we put inside the ring so special: the 35 victories.”

“The Black flag is really special. It’s a source of pride, it’s a sacred symbol to have that symbol and the words “Fight On To Victory” around it.”

“There is perhaps no bigger goal that we have as a program or as an institution that can Beat Navy.” [Navy Midshipmen College Football Team]

“So as we open the palm of our hand and look down, for each person wearing it, it will say “Beat Navy” and it’s just a reminder of who we are, where our program started.”
