The Hershey Bears’ thrilling playoff journey for the 2024 Calder Cup commenced on Wednesday, May 01, 2024, playing against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for four games, with a final score of 3-1.

The Bears then swept the Hartford Wolf Pack, securing their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, with a final score of 3-0.

The excitement continued as the Bears reached the Calder Cup Finals, where Pierrick Dubé recorded a hat trick and Matt Strome scored 66 seconds into overtime. All this and more lifted the Hershey Bears (14-6) to a 5-4 victory over the Coachella Valley Firebirds (12-6) in Game 6 of the 2024 Calder Cup Finals and becoming Back-To-Back 2024 Calder Cup Champions.

Hendrix Lapierre earned the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the most valuable player of the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs, leading the postseason with 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists) over 20 games.

Hershey Bears won their 2024 Calder Cup title in front of a franchise-record crowd of 11,013 on Monday night at Giant Center.

  • The Calder Cup trophy was first awarded in 1938 to the Providence Reds for winning the second International-American Hockey League Championship.
