Binghamton Black Bears Select Baron® for 2025 FPHL Championship Ring Design

October 3, 2025, Binghamton, NY — In front of a sold-out, over-capacity crowd at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, the Binghamton Black Bears etched their names into hockey history, completing a dominant 3-0 series sweep of the Carolina Thunderbirds to capture the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup and repeat as FPHL Champions.

With the win, Binghamton became the first team in league history to win Back-To-Back FPHL Championships, finishing the series with a commanding sweep for the second consecutive year.

Baron® Championship Rings Named Official Ring Partner

To honor this unprecedented accomplishment, Baron® Championship Rings has been selected to craft the official 2025 FPHL Championship Rings for the Binghamton Black Bears.

Ring Top:

• The 2 cups symbolize the second title and consecutive victories.
• “2024” and “2025” are engraved on each cup to mark the Championship years.
• One side of the cups also features the words “607” (city area code) and “BNG” (abbreviation).
• 49 white stones represent regular-season wins, while 7 green stones symbolize each postseason win, and 14 green stones total denote the number of teams in the FPHL
• The total wins for the 2024–25 season are shown with 56 white stones.
• Additionally, 148 stones display the team’s goal differential.

Right Shoulder:

• The 10 stones symbolize the team’s 10 shutouts— 6 (green stones) during the regular season and 4 (white stones) in the postseason.
• Banner & cup icons for second title
• 18 white stones highlight the 18-game winning streak and 18 short-handed goals.
  3 baguette stones commemorate the city’s 3rd Professional Hockey Championship.

Inside Engraving & Shank:

• The Playoff Logo, series results, and the 2025 Cup victory date are highlighted inside the ring. The 2 cups mark the league’s first Back-To-Back Champions.
• The rally cry “Run It Back” is engraved on the outside of the ring.

This past season, the Binghamton Black Bears became the first-ever back-to-back Champions of the FPHL. In the league’s 15-year history, no other organization has been able to attain that milestone. The Black Bears set franchise records in wins, points, goals scored, sellouts, and total attendance; dominating the regular season with a 49-6-1 record and posting a 7- 1- 0 record in the playoffs.
