The Steel’s 2025 Season: A Comeback Year

2025 Stingray Allstars Steel New uniform

The Steels unveiled an impressive new uniform design in late 2024, showcasing their resilience with striking steel-inspired textures and bold aesthetics.

A standout social video featured team members proudly displaying their new grey and black cheerleading uniforms adorned with white stripes and shimmering glitter that mimics steel textures, all highlighted by the iconic Rays logo on the chest.

The Mindset Behind the Comeback

Varsity All Star had the opportunity to interview Allie Traugott and Kijahni John in an engaging Instagram video. Both athletes, now in their second year with The Stingray Allstars Steel, described the upcoming season as a powerful “comeback season” for the team as they return to the Senior Large Coed division in 2025.

They are determined to prove themselves and embrace a fresh style. Kijahni articulated the team’s mindset perfectly: “We are committed to being better than we already were and pushing each other to new heights.”

Allie characterized the team as a vibrant group that seamlessly unites to focus on the finer details during competitions. She also praised Coach Charlie’s mindset of “Focus and effort,” emphasizing the importance of unity within the squad and expressing her pride in their achievements.

From NCA Glory to Worlds

The team’s excellence was on full display at the NCA Championship in March 2025, where they secured a well-deserved victory.

A month later, the Steels took the stage at Worlds, earning a Silver Medal for their remarkable performance. The Cheerleading Worlds is one of the highest accolades in the cheerleading realm.

These achievements are a testament to the exceptional coaching leadership of Louis, Katie, Charlie, and Malonte, whose guidance has driven the Stingray Allstars Steel to new heights.
