The ECHL Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Celebration!

January 28, 2026 — On Monday, January 19, 2026, the hockey community gathered at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas/Allen at the Event Center to witness a truly special moment in ECHL history. The league’s 18th Hall of Fame Class:

  • Jeff Campbell
  • Jason Christie
  • Riley Gil
  • Mark Turner

These honorary inductees were recognized and officially inducted, celebrating the remarkable contributions they made to the sport. The ECHL Hall of Fame ceremony was held during the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic in Allen, Texas.

A Legacy Commemorated in Gold

The 2026 class represented the very best of ECHL hockey:

  • Two Gifted Playmakers

Each inductee’s journey helped shape the ECHL into the thriving league it is today.

Meet the ECHL Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Baron® Championship Rings was honored to create the Hall of Fame rings for four exceptional individuals whose careers defined excellence in the ECHL. Here’s a closer look at the legends who earned their place in history.

Jeff Campbell

Two-Time MVP Playmaker

Jeff Campbell‘s four-season tenure with the Gwinnett Gladiators from 2004-08 produced one of the most impressive point-per-game ratios in ECHL history.

In just 210 games, Campbell amassed 254 points (90g-164a), establishing himself as one of the league’s elite offensive forces. Learn more about Jeff Campbell’s ECHL career.

Jason Christie

The Winningest Coach in ECHL History

Jason Christie‘s name is synonymous with ECHL coaching excellence. Over 18 seasons behind the bench with Peoria, Utah, Ontario, Tulsa, and Jacksonville, Christie became the league’s all-time leader with 667 career wins across 1,282 games coached.

Christie guided his teams to the Kelly Cup Playoffs 10 times, reaching the Conference Finals in 2001, 2008, and 2015. Learn more about Jason Christie’s ECHL career.

Riley Gill

Championship Goaltender Extraordinaire

When Championships were on the line, Riley Gill was the goaltender teams wanted in net. Over nine seasons with Victoria, Kalamazoo, Reading, and Allen, Gill established himself as one of the most reliable netminders in ECHL history.

Ranking third all-time with 21 shutouts. Eighth with 147 wins, and 13th among goaltenders with 245 career appearances. Learn more about Riley Gill’s ECHL career.

Mark Turner

Elite Point Producer

Mark Turner was the definition of offensive consistency, averaging over a point per game throughout his ECHL career. Over parts of eight seasons with Columbus (Chill), New Orleans, Mobile, Greensboro (Generals), and Toledo (Storm), Turner totalled an impressive 546 points (210g-336a) in 528 games.

His career numbers place him among the ECHL’s all-time elite: 22nd in points, 23rd in assists, 24th in goals, and 40th in games played. Learn more about Mark Turner’s ECHL career.
