Five Rings, One Beautiful Game: Celebrating National Soccer Day 2026

by Last updated Jul 29, 2026Baron Rings

July 28, 2026 — Soccer is played by 250 million people in over 200 countries. It’s the most-watched game on the planet. This year, North America welcomed soccer fans and athletes as the U.S. co-hosted the 2026 FIFA World Cup. So when National Soccer Day rolls around on July 28, there’s a lot to celebrate.

But before soccer was a World Cup, it was a season. A grind. A locker room full of players who believed they could go all the way, and did.

At Baron® Championship Rings, we’ve had the honor of crafting rings for Champions at every level of the game, from a high school program chasing back-to-back City titles to a Canadian university ending an 11-year National Championship drought.

Every ring tells a different story. Every one of them belongs on a hand that earned it.

This National Soccer Day, we’re celebrating five of those stories.

El Camino Real Charter High School — Boys Soccer

2026 CIF Los Angeles City Section Open Division Champions

The Royals didn’t just win their ninth City Title in school history — they had to survive the wildest week in LA high school soccer to get there. Down 1-0 against Birmingham High School, with the lights literally cut with five minutes left on the clock, El Camino Real fought to overtime and then won it on penalty kicks. Back-to-back Open Division Champions. Record: 20-3-2.

  • Finished the season #5 in California, #26 in the nation
  • Went 9-0-1 in West Valley League play — undefeated in conference

Their Championship Ring, crafted in white durilium, carries the ECR logo in blue enamel with a single gold star rising above it, a nod to the standard this program holds itself to. “Open DIV Champions” sits in blue antique on the crown, while the shoulders carry the Camino script wordmark, trophy graphics, and the 2026 year. The ring finishes with stones cascading through the base, because a season this dramatic deserves a ring that catches the light from every angle.

Snow College — Women's Soccer

2025 NJCAA Region 18 Champions

The Badgers earned their fourth Region 18 title in program history the hard way: a double-overtime golden goal to beat Utah State Eastern, followed by a tight 1-0 win over the top-seeded Bruins in the final. Snow College outshot, outworked, and out-willed the field on the way to a 13-4-3 season.

  • 52 goals on the season, a 2.74 goals-per-game average
  • 48.6% shots-on-goal accuracy (159 of 327) — a sign of a team that didn’t waste chances

Their ring pairs obsidian and white durilium, with the Snow College Athletics logo rendered in blue and orange enamel and surrounded by matching stones. “Region 18 Champions” sits proudly on the crown, wrapped by “All In” and “Snow College” along the band. It’s a ring built for a team that treated every match like the finals.

Delta College Pioneers — Women's Soccer

2025 NJCAA Division III National Champions

Some programs win a Championship. Delta College builds a dynasty. This was the Pioneers’ third National title, second in a row, capping an 18-0-1 season with a staggering 106-5 goal differential. They beat Dallas College Brookhaven 1-0 in overtime on a 97th-minute golden goal from Isabella Workman, while goalkeeper Mia Warner made seven saves to seal the shutout and the title.

  • 18-0-1, undefeated, with a 106–5 goal differential
  • Head coach Damon Amey has been named Region XII Coach of the Year every season since 2018

The ring reflects a program built on layers of success: obsidian durilium as the base, white and rose durilium accents, and a glass-enamel Delta College Athletics logo unlike anything else in our collection. “National Champions” sits at the crown, “Back 2 Back” and twin NJCAA trophies mark the shoulder. Also, the season record, 18-0-1, is locked in for good.

Lipscomb University — Women's Soccer

2025 ASUN Regular Season and Tournament Champions

Back-to-back doesn’t happen by accident. Lipscomb clinched its second straight ASUN Championship with a commanding 3-0 win over North Florida. As a result, punching their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the second year running. Head coach Kevin O’Brien earned his fifth career ASUN Coach of the Year award in the process, and eight Bisons landed on All-Conference teams.

  • 15-6-2 overall, 7-2-1 in ASUN play
  • 47.3% shots-on-goal accuracy (156 of 330) across the season
  • 6 Bisons earned Academic All-ASUN honors for their achievements in the classroom

Their ring pairs white and golden durilium, with the Lipscomb L logo sitting on top of two ASUN trophies. “2025 ASUN Champions” is framed in gold durilium and clear stones, with “Regular Season” and “Tournament” wrapping the band, a reminder that this team didn’t just win once. They won both.

University of British Columbia — Men's Soccer

2024 U SPORTS National Champions

Eleven years. That’s how long UBC waited to reclaim the U SPORTS National Championship, a title they’d taken 13 times before but hadn’t touched since 2013. It came down to the final minutes against Montreal Carabins, a match that felt destined for overtime until Joven Mann, the tournament MVP, headed home the winner in stoppage time. Head coach Mike Mosher called it “the top of the mountain” for a program that had come close for a decade.

  • 17-1-3 on the season, a 2.14 goals-per-game average
  • Goalkeeper B. McKay posted two clean sheets at the national tournament, including 10 saves in the final
  • This was head coach Mike Mosher’s 9th U SPORTS title with the program (3 as a player, 6 as a coach)

The soccer ring carries the UBC logo perched on a golden cup trophy, surrounded by clear stones, with “National Champions” set against a white durilium band. “Side Before Self” and “Thunderbirds” wrap the edges in blue stones, and the Championship year sits beside the U SPORTS logo on the shoulder. Fourteen National Titles, and this one came at the perfect time.
