Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame Class Of 2024 Enshrinement Ceremony

November 4, 2024 – Baron® is honored to have been part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Enshrinement.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Enshrinement Ceremony festivities were on October 12 and October 13, 2024. The Class of 2024 ceremony, featuring 13 members, took place in Springfield, Massachusetts.

David Paul teamed up with Baron® Championship Rings to provide exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews during the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 enshrinement ceremony weekend.

“We have a historic class, featuring icons like Michael Cooper, Bo Ryan, Doug Collins, Chauncey Billups, Vince Carter, Seimone Augustus and more! Our wrap sessions are happening right now. People are coming in, all the fans. Day one, we have a big night tonight and tomorrow! Stay tuned! Let’s go,” said David.

Just moments before the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame ceremony kicked off, Peter Kanis and David discussed the significance of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame rings.

David said, “I’m here behind the scenes with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. I’m here with Peter Kanis, CEO of Baron® Championship Rings. Why don’t we hit the stage and just look at these personalized rings that you guys have done for the inductees this year.”

Peter explained a little about the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Rings.

“It’s a golden diamond ring. It’s obviously top quality product. We kinda Baron®-ized it a little bit over the years to add a custom garnet stone underneath.”

“Every ring is the same except for the personalization, their role as a player, coach or contributor and their Class year. Part of this process is getting to be here and part of it is to recognize their history, especially the group today. I was a young teenager or young adult when I saw them in their prime, and I’m excited to be here.”

Spike Lee

David Paul had a chance to sit down and interview Spike Lee, the Icon Himself. Additionally, David sat down in an interview with Hollywood Legendary Icon Billy Crystal. Both Billy Crystal and Spike Lee received their Championship Ring from Baron® at the Naismith Superfan Induction!

David asked Spike Lee when one of his latest movies was coming out? Spike replied, “It’s the 5th movie with Denzel Washington.”

Spike Lee said “I’ve been telling many people that I got this honor. I didn’t even know that they had an award for fans. I didn’t know.”

Lee was looking forward to being part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame weekend “So I gotta get a shout-out to my brother Jack Nicholson, who is not here. Looking forward to seeing Billy Crystal. The whole family drove up from the city today and we’ll be here tomorrow and so. Got to spend some time with the G.O.A.T.”

Billy Crystal

David Paul sat down with Hollywood Legendary Icon Billy Crystal to talk about his new Fan Ring presented by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

David asked Billy about hosting award shows, “You have hosted multiple Academy Awards, what makes this (Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame Class Of 2024 Ceremony) special/unique compared to all others?”

Billy’s reaction said it all in a chuckle “Because I didn’t have to rehearse.” Billy continued to explain “It’s very sweet, I part from myself is I root the right way, I’ve never given Doc Rivers a neck massage during the game.”

David commented “You got up there and you said, “Please be seated.” That joke, where did that joke stem from?” Billy replied because they were not standing.

“To those of us who have been with this team forever and ever. The sport is really even more so than my affection for the LA Clippers for all this time. My affection, my attachment to the games,” said Billy Crystal.

David congratulated on receiving Baron®‘s Championship Ring while commenting on how fantastic the fan ring looked and thanked him for his time.

Class of 2024

David Paul brought exclusive red-carpet interviews with a few newly enshrined Class of 2024 members.

Chauncey Billups was asked about his Hall of Fame ring and how it feels about getting the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Ring. “So many things have happened this weekend, made me feel like “it’s really here, it’s really happening.” This jacket is one of them, and this (Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame) ring is one of them. Having my family here is the greatest thing in the world.”

Vince Carter emphasizes the importance of his Hall of Fame ring and jacket in preserving his legacy for future generations.

“I can always show them this jacket and this (Hall of Fame) ring—because they understand what that means,” said Carter.

Vince Carter mentioned to Grant Hill recently, “As I put that jacket on, felt chills and felt powerful,” he was feeling solidified.

Doug Collins was asked about his experience at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 ceremony, he replied “It feels great!”

“My career was filled with a lot of heartache. The start of the Olympics looked like we were going win, they took our gold medals away from us. Went to the Philadelphia 76ers, we were ready to be a Championship level team and I got hurt and could not play anymore.”

Collins explains that the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 ceremony serves as a reminder that each inductee—and every class that came before—has made a meaningful impact.

Baron® Championship Rings extends a heartfelt thank you to David Paul for his insightful interviews, behind-the-scenes look at the ceremony, and for capturing the essence of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 weekend.

Congratulations to the 2024 inductees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 and to all those honored with awards!

Baron® proudly recognizes the multitude of achievements that have left a lasting impact on the basketball community by the entire Class of 2024.
