2020 BOSTON CANNONS MLL CHAMPIONSHIP RING
THE BOSTON CANNONS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE MAJOR LEAGUE LACROSSE!
For the second time in the history of the Boston Cannons and the first time since 2011. The Cannons won the 2020 Steinfeld Cup led by their MVP Bryce Wasserman who captured his first MLL Championship Ring in the process.
Cannons Lacrosse Club identity, previously known as Boston Cannons and formerly based in Boston, Massachusets, was adopted following the MLL-PLL merger in December 2020.

PROFESSIONAL LACROSSE CHAMPIONS: 2020 BOSTON CANNONS
2020 was a unique year for all. Including Major League Lacrosse which had to reschedule the start of the season along with shortening the regular season to only 5 games.
The Cannons went 3-2 in the regular season, just sneaking in as the 4th and final seed in the 2020 MLL playoffs.
The Cannons were scheduled to face the #1 seeded Denver Outlaws in the semi-finals.
However, due to positive COVID-19 tests between the Chesapeake Bayhawks and Connecticut Hammerheads. In effect, the Cannons and Outlaws game was forced to become the final Championship Game.
Once the final game was ready to begin, the Cannons did not miss a beat.
After all, picking up where they left off in their regular-season matchup. While defeating the Outlaws 15-10 to win the Championship Ring.

MILL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Boston Cannons having won a Lacrosse Championship Ring in the past.
The men’s field lacrosse team knew they had to end their drought in 2020.
As a result, winning their second Custom Rings in the same stadium (Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium) that they won their first Championship Ring.
The Cannons Lacrosse Club won the 2020 Steinfeld Cup.
In short, the Lacrosse team led by their MVP Bryce Wasserman who captured his first MLL Championship Ring in the process.
Wasserman, who also attends law school at Monmouth University. He scored 15 goals and 6 assists in just 5 games.
Additionally, won MVP and an MLL Championship Ring despite having a broken hand in the finals.
HOW LONG IS A MAJOR LEAGUE LACROSSE GAME?
According to Major League Lacrosse‘s Wikipedia page, a Major League Lacrosse Field is 110 yards long and 60 yards wide. The game is 60 minutes long, divided into four fifteen-minute quarters with a
15-minute intermission at halftime. Plus multiple 10-minute golden goal periods for regulation games ending in ties unless one team scores, which wins the game. Teams are required to dress twenty players, with ten players on the field at a time.
MLL rules are based on NCAA rules with various changes.

To summarize, given the sacrifices and adjustments needed in the 2020 season by both the coaches and players.
Certainly, a beautiful Championship Ring is the best way to reward these athletes for a fantastic season.
The Boston Cannons and the MLL couldn’t have seen the COVID-19 pandemic coming.
Just as Bryce Wasserman couldn’t have seen a broken hand coming.
Yet, all of these parties adapted terrifically to pull off another successful Major League Lacrosse season.
