Baron® 2024 Year In Review: “Later down the road, my brother and I would always help him out on the ring days at factories. What we really found interesting was the sports ring. When sports teams would win, we mentioned this to our dad. My brother was an artist, so he would design the ring. My brother and I started getting more and more involved in the business.”

Breaking Into the Big Leagues: How was Baron® able to get the chance to make the Championship Rings for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors?

Drina detailed the incredible stories of how Baron® earned its place among industry giants as she recalls “My brother happened to be at the Cavs game sitting next to the of the marketing guys at the Cleveland Cavs. He said ‘Hey, if we win you guys should present.'” Until that point, Baron had not created a Pro Championship Ring.

The Toronto Raptors’ selection process showcased the company’s dedication to earning every opportunity. Drina expressed immense respect for Kyle Lowry, who chose Baron®’s design anonymously, ensuring the company’s success was built on merit.

“And then he chose on design, which he obviously chose us, but to me, it showed you right there that – we earned it! We weren’t given it.”

Ethical Excellence: How is Baron Championship Rings ensuring the use of ethically sourced materials?

Drina underscored Baron®‘s commitment to ethical practices, sharing an example of sourcing Canadian diamonds for the Toronto Raptors’ Championship Rings.

“With our clients, when they want to know where diamonds, metals, or anything are made from us, we have all the certificates to prove that because we’re very cautious.”

In 2024, Baron® Championship Rings’s Leave No One Behind™ Foundation proudly partnered with the Wespy Awards to launch the inaugural Wespy/Baron® Bursary.

This initiative celebrates Baron®‘s dedication to supporting local athletes and fostering community growth.

At the annual Wespy Awards on April 30th, 2024, legendary host Jack Nicklaus presented the $2,500 bursaries to outstanding athletes Owen Coffey and Lily Mulder, honouring their achievements and commitment to excellence.

This collaboration highlights Baron®‘s unwavering commitment to empowering future Champions.

2024 has been a landmark year for Baron® Championship Rings, marked by exciting new collaborations and continued partnerships.

Baron® proudly teamed up with esteemed organizations like USA Baseball, IHSBCA, Canada Hoops Circuit, and the Montreal Alouettes, while extending partnerships with Heart of America and GNAC.

Notably, Baron® unveiled the official 2024 Paris Women’s and Men’s USA Basketball Championship Rings in collaboration with USA Basketball.

Additional highlights include partnerships with Lacrosse Canada / Crosse Canada, Wayne State University Athletics, and serving as a sponsor for the Basketball Super League.

These collaborations reflect Baron®‘s commitment to celebrating Champions across diverse sports.

In 2024, another concept piece was introduced to the Masterpiece Series, a visionary collection created by our talented lead designer, Will Bigelow.

With meticulous attention to detail, the Twice The Ice Championship Ring is redefining the landscape of Championship jewelry. This design features two interconnected Championship Rings, elevating them to an unprecedented level of design excellence, with one of the rings able to twist down.

On February 7, 2024, Baron® celebrated the 38th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) through a blog post, the release of the 2024 Girls and Women in Sports Championship Ring Package, and several social media posts.

These efforts aimed to highlight the achievements of girls and women in sports. Stories shared included those from the Ball State University women’s gymnastics team, U SPORTS’ first female head referee, Emily Clarke, and MLB’s first woman manager, Alyssa Nakken.

USA Basketball Invests In Women
In anticipation of the 1996 Atlanta Games, USA Basketball initiates a comprehensive yearlong training program for the Olympic team.

The coaching responsibilities are entrusted to Tara VanDerveer from Stanford University.

Throughout this extensive preparation, the team embarks on a nationwide tour, engaging in competitive matches against the best college programs across the country.

Baron® presents the “Inspire to Play” initiative with Bob Bellacicco from Powerplay Sports featuring the voices of the Lancers Women’s Basketball Team.

This series captures the essence of women’s basketball through the perspectives of Mariah Chandler, Chantal Vallee, Reine Ndome, and Isabella Anes from the University of Windsor Lancers Women’s Basketball team.

These conversations offer an insightful glimpse into the triumphs, challenges, and inspirations that shape the vibrant landscape of women’s collegiate basketball, as well as their insights into the journeys of women in sports.

2023 Erie SeaWolves Eastern League Championship Ring

Baron® Championship Rings proudly presents the official 2023 Erie SeaWolves Eastern League Championship Ring. Congratulations to the Erie SeaWolves MiLB team for winning the 2023 Eastern League Championship and for their stunning custom MiLB Championship Ring. The ring features an intricate design that includes the Howling Wolf logo, a baseball diamond, and a golden “Eastern League Champions” title. The sides of the ring display the player’s name, the Detroit Tigers’ logo, the championship year, and the Captain Wolf logo.
